  • Besides having a magnetic personality, Reece is a qualified graphic designer with a passion for all things creative. Reece was fascinated by street art from a young age and decided early on that he wanted to ‘draw for a living’. While studying graphic design at La Trobe University, he discovered the joy and power of collaboration, through founding his own magazine where he worked with over 30 artists, photographers and illustrators.

Following his studies, Reece worked for a number of creative agencies, before taking on a part-time marketing role at Apiam Animal Health, which enabled him to start Nacho Station as a “side hustle” in 2012. By 2019 the side hustle become a full-on hustle, which is when Reece took the plunge and, in his own words, “went full time nacho”. Ever since, Reece has made good progress in his quest to make Bendigo a street art hotspot and is now turning his attention to towns around Central Victoria ... and hasn’t ruled out taking over the world after that!

Ultimately, however, what gets him up in the morning is seeing how collaborative creative projects can engage, uplift and reinvigorate communities.
